| Apply for a Grant Applicants are encouraged to begin the application process by first reading the Grant Guidelines on this website. All grants must be submitted on WCA's application form. While WCA utilizes the Proposal Narrative portion of the Minnesota Common Grant application form, the WCA application form has a different cover sheet as well as a gender information form on WCA letterhead. The WCA application form is the only one which will be accepted for consideration. This application form is not available on-line, but WCA welcomes calls from grantseekers. A brief conversation will help both WCA and prospective grantseekers learn if the agency or program for which support is being sought fits within WCA's guidelines. If so, an application form will be mailed without delay. WCA has two grant application deadlines a year - May 1 and November 1. Applications must be post-marked on or before those dates in order to be accepted for consideration.
WCA's funding range is $5,000 to $15,000; the median grant is $12,000. WCA does not fund through fiscal agents or sponsors and does not make multi-year grants. However, grant recipients may re-apply for a grant for the same or a different program after 12 months have elapsed following the receipt of a grant and after WCA has received a follow-up report on the use of the grant.
